And in the year 2015, the company has installed L&T machinery and shifted all its production to this, L&T has a capacity of high production. Now company production has increased to 500 tons yearly. PET or Polyethylene Terephthalate is a very strong yet lightweight form of clear polyester. It is usually used for making the containers in which juices, alcohol, soft drinks, water, household cleaners, edible oils, other food, and nonfood applications are sold.

PET Plastic is mainly used for packaging mineral water and carbonated soft drinks.

PET bottles usually bear an injection mold dot at the bottom. Another way in which they can be identified is the recyclability number 1 which is generally found inside or next to the recyclability symbol mold on the bottle or printed on the table.

One of the major benefits of PET is the strength of the material. Some carbonated soft drinks can generate pressure within the bottle reaching up to 6 bar. However, this high pressure occurs both during the resin spinning process and the blow molding process. Additionally, it is not capable of deforming the bottle or making it explode.

A preform is an intermediate product that is subsequently blown into a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) container. Preforms vary in neck finish, weight, colour and shape, and are specifically designed to meet the needs of customers in different market segments.
